Applying for a Place
Session Information
We accept children from the half-term after they turn 2 and offer a range of flexible sessions (term-time only):
- Breakfast Club: 8-9am
- Morning Session: 9-12pm
- Afternoon session: 12.30-3.30pm
- Full Day session: 9am - 3/3.30pm
- After School club session: 3.30-5/5.30pm

Nursery tours
We are very proud of our nursery and encourage families to join one of our upcoming tours.
Upcoming tour dates for 2025/26:
- Thursday 6th November at 2pm
- Wednesday 21st January at 2pm
- Monday 2nd March at 10am
- Thursday 30th April at 2pm
- Wednesday 10th June at 2pm

Applying for a place
If you wish to make an application to join our nursery, please complete one of the below Application Forms - if you wish to make an application to join our nursery, please complete one of the below Application Forms, depending upon your child's intended start date.

To proceed with your application, we require a copy of your child’s birth certificate and a recent utility bill (dated within the last 3 months) as proof of address - please email this to hen@hordleprimary.co.uk or drop in to the school office.
Please note that a refundable registration fee of £50 will be charged upon the completion of an application form and will secure a holding place for your child. This will be credited to your account to use towards your first invoice. Please note that, should you decide not to accept a place at Hordle Explorers Nursery, the registration fee is non-refundable at this point. Further details on how to make payment for this will be sent upon receipt of your application form.
When can I apply for nursery sessions?
Once we have received your application form and registration fee, we can advise on next steps.
We would recommend applying at least 9 months in advance of your child’s start date to provide us with the best possible chance of meeting your needs and being able to provide suitable availability. Availability is subject to demand - if we are unable to meet your requirements, we will do our very best to offer alternative sessions/days.
